How to navigate the SAPO website
1. Welcome
The SAPO website is the official online home of the Sindh Association of Prosthetists & Orthotists. This guide walks you through everything a visitor or member can do on the site — finding professionals, applying for membership, renewing, voting in elections, and more.
2. Browsing as a visitor (no sign-in needed)
Home page
Visit / to see the SAPO landing page. Use the top menu to jump to any section.
Find a Professional or Facility
Open /practitionersfrom the top menu. Filter by profession, city, experience, or certification status. Click any card to view full contact details. Facility tab lets you search clinics & hospitals.
Read news, events, and resources
/news for announcements, /events for upcoming activities, /resources for downloadable guidelines and reading material.
Contact SAPO
/contact opens a form that goes directly to the admin inbox.
3. Applying for membership
Open the membership page
Go to /membership to see the membership tiers and the application form.
Fill out the application
Provide your full name, email, phone, specialty (Prosthetist / Orthotist / Technician / Student), graduation year, and institute. Tick “List me as a Professional” if you want to be added to the public directory after approval.
Wait for admin approval
The SAPO admin will review your application. Once approved, you receive an email with your Membership # and Login password.
4. Signing in as a member
Member login
Go to /members/login. Enter your Membership # and the password you received by email.
Member dashboard
After login you land on /members/dashboard. From here you can renew membership, update your password, submit an election nomination, and (if approved) upload a profile photo.
Forgot your password?
Use the “Forgot password?” link on the login page or contact the admin via /contact.
5. Renewing your membership
When your membership is up for renewal, the dashboard shows a renewal banner. Click Renew, complete payment (or upload proof for offline payment), and the admin will mark your membership active again.
6. Election 2026 — submitting a nomination
Open the nomination form
From the member dashboard, click Election 2026 → Submit nomination, or go to /members/nominate.
Pick a position and write a statement
Choose one of the five Organizational Committee positions. Write a short statement (or upload a PDF) explaining why you’re standing.
Wait for review
The election committee reviews each nomination. Once approved, your name and statement appear on the public /elections page, grouped by position.
7. Updating your profile photo
If an admin has promoted you to the public directory, you can upload a profile photo from your member dashboard. Crop a square image, click Save, and it will appear on your public listing immediately.
